In terms of technology and equipment, six major technology platforms are being used to promote the development of eight major industrial chain systems: a waste-free industrial chain, a specialty oil industry chain, a polyolefin specialty industrial chain, a specialty monomer industrial chain, a high-performance materials industrial chain, a fine chemicals industrial chain, a "zero-carbon industrial chain," and an electronic chemicals industrial chain. In conjunction with the high-end refining and chemical product layout of the Zhenhai base, efforts are being made to advance key equipment technologies such as core units, important valves, key pumps and compressors.

In terms of AI technology, for production operations, large-scale time-series models are being used to construct vertical models for refining and chemical industry scenarios, enabling quality prediction, process optimization, and anomaly diagnosis. For equipment management, a combination of "high-quality datasets – intelligent agents – scenario models" and smaller models is being used to achieve intelligent health management of equipment such as heat exchangers and valve prediction. For operational safety, large-scale multimodal applications are being used to improve the accuracy and interactivity of intelligent video analysis.
